This informal group gathers at Gruner Brothers Brewing on the first Thursday of each month (beginning January 2025.

All who would like to attend are welcome.

You do not need to speak German.

History - 21 years!!!

This group first met in March 2003 in Casper, Wyoming.

It was founded by Margo Perry, a German teacher at Casper College, who through the classes she taught and many people she met in the community, noticed that a lot of people were eager to reconnect with their German-American heritage.

Some people had recently immigrated from Germany; others remembered bits of German songs and phrases that their grandparents had shared with them long ago; others longed for the taste of German dishes from family celebrations during their childhoods; and still others were intrigued with German-related interests from stamp collecting to beer brewing to contemporary German music and technology.
